REQUEST FOR INTEREST The ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH AGENCY (the AACSA) has up to $12,500 of purchase of services funds for Maryland Fiscal Year 2012 for mental health evaluation services and other behavioral health services to eligible individuals who are involved in the criminal justice system as identified and referred by the Health Department. Persons in detention often have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Many times these problems have contributed to the person’s involvement with the Criminal Justice System. We are looking for Behavioral Health Professionals licensed to diagnose and evaluate as defined in Health Occupation are sought to assess and make treatment recommendations for Anne Arundel County Defendants who have been court ordered to undergo an evaluation pursuant to a Health General §8-505 order.
